Mental Health

Don't expect to see results right away.  If there are emotional reasons that are deep seeded then give yourself time to bring those emotions to the surface.
      Depression and Obesity

First see your doctor.  Most likely you are depressed.  Be honest with your doctor.  Get a referral for a good therapist.  Talk to someone who you trust.  Until you let go of what is causing your bad eating behavior, you will not succeed.
I have been in counseling now for three years.  During the first year we discussed tools to help me make better choices eating but until I had really addressed those emotions I couldn't stop eating junk food. At least now I was understanding why I was making the bad choices.  It is still a battle and always will be.  But I have tools to get me on the    right track when I take a stumble.
